Palmyra Primary Schools vision for reconciliation is to continue to respectfully engage our school community in striving for reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and the wider Australian community.  We continue to strive to make a difference by using responsive practices and respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives in our teaching and learning. This supports the confidence and courage for all members of our community to challenge racist attitudes, assumptions and actions that lead to negative relations between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We continue deepen our understandings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and learning more about the Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar that we are teaching and learning on by meaningfully including First Nations peoples cultures and perspectives into our school grounds, classrooms, and curriculum. Â
