Belmay Primary School’s vision for reconciliation is to actively recognise and show respect for the First Peoples of Australia; past, present and future. We aim to foster meaningful connections with, promote a deep understanding of the Land, and acknowledge the significance of the Whadjuk Noongar People within the local Belmont area. 

Belmay Primary School’s vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge the diverse cultures of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives, cultures and histories throughout the school environment and everyday classroom learning activities and routines. 

We will encourage and empower all students to be lifelong advocates for reconciliation by providing an environment of openness and inclusivity where all students, parents, staff, and members of the community feel valued and respected. We will strive to provide equal and equitable education opportunities to allow all students to unlock their full potential.
