We respectfully acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people, as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our school is built. In this place, we aim to create a culturally safe environment where all students and staff strive to shine. We encourage learning with and from each other and exploring the shared histories and journeys of all Australians. Staff and students actively contribute to the whole school community, with a particular focus on the inclusion and celebration of First Nations students, families, staff and local First nations communities.

We value, respect and celebrate First Nations peoples contributions in shaping a shared sense of national unity and identity by providing authentic and open recognition of past and continuing First Nations histories, traditions and cultures in a creative and innovative manner. As a school community, we commit to respectfully including First Nations peoples ways of learning into the curriculum and the broader school community.   It is important to recognise the impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples have on our past and future generations, whilst we acknowledge that these Lands have always been places of teaching and learning for tens of thousands of years. Through this shared understanding, we are working towards continued respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, which will help to develop an enriched appreciation of Australias cultural heritage and can contribute to reconciliation. Having a commitment to reconciliation is essential to the maturity of Australia as a nation and fundamental to the redevelopment of an Australian identity.
