Our vision for reconciliation is to continue cultivating strong and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with open minds and hearts. We will pursue reconciliation by deepening our understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, spiritualities, and deep connections to the land and sea through collaboration and education. Our educational structures will be inclusive and equitable, upholding the values of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with a commitment to including First Nations perspectives, cultures, histories, contributions, and aspirations for the future.
Inspired by the values of the Gospels and the charism of St. Eugene De Mazenod, Mazenod College endeavours to promote a spirit of inclusion and equality, where all members of the community are respected with human dignity. Mazenod College is committed to embed reconciliation into our daily practices, policies, and partnerships both in our classrooms and across our school community. Together, we will endeavour to honour and celebrate the rich heritage and ongoing contributions of First Nations peoples.
