MWHPS is committed to fostering a culturally inclusive environment that values, and respects all diverse communities, with a specific focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We aim to build enduring connections with the local First Nations community and create a school community where all individuals feel valued and respected. We will actively strengthen and nurture respectful relationships between local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian communities.   

MWHPS is committed to increasing our knowledge and understanding of the histories, cultures, and contributions of the First Peoples of Australia. We will seek to learn from and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples respectfully. We acknowledge that the true histories of Australia will profoundly influence the present and the future. We will  engage in critical self-reflection and take intentional action to create a more inclusive and equitable community. We will create meaningful opportunities for authentic actions toward reconciliation.   

This commitment enriches all members of our community and the development of future First Nations leaders in Australia.
