Orchard Grove Primary School is committed to fostering a journey towards reconciliation through the power of education. We recognise that early education, along with ongoing learning, is a crucial pathway to understanding all cultures. We understand that this journey involves continuous learning, unlearning, and relearning, and we are dedicated to deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. 

Our vision for reconciliation at Orchard Grove Primary is to create a school community where all students, educators, families, and the wider community value and learn about the rich histories and cultures of the First Peoples of Australia. We are committed to cultivating an environment that demonstrates deep respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, supported by ongoing education, training, and advocacy against racism and discrimination. 

At Orchard Grove Primary, we aim to provide inclusive and collaborative learning opportunities that embrace our entire school community, acknowledging and incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories and cultures. We believe that reconciliation is the responsibility of all Australians and are dedicated to being active participants in this journey. We will work together to create a space of understanding and peace where all are welcome and valued.
