At Roberts McCubbin Primary School, we are committed to nurturing a generation of students who deeply understand and value the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we aim to create a culturally safe and inclusive environment where all students, staff, and families are respected, supported, and connected. Central to our RAP is the belief that reconciliation begins with education. We are dedicated to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our curriculum and school life, so that students can engage with and reflect on our shared histories including the truths of Australias past and the ongoing strength and resilience of First Nations peoples. We recognise the importance of working in partnership with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to ensure learning is authentic, respectful, and responsive. Together, we will walk the path of reconciliation, fostering cultural understanding, promoting equity, and building a future grounded in respect, truth, and unity.
