VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Quantin Binnah actively includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our community centres OSHC through a comprehensive Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Reconciliation, to us, is about building positive relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and fostering cultural respect, with the ultimate goal of a united and inclusive society based on mutual understanding.

Our vision for reconciliation is to provide opportunities for staff to engage with cultural responsiveness training, in consultation, and collaboration with local First Nations communities.

Educational programs are inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, languages and perspectives.   Our commitment to reconciliation is an evolving process as we engage with the diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to foster understanding and unity. Collaboration is essential in aiming to build a more inclusive environment reflecting the values and aspirations of all community members and advancing the journey of reconciliation.
