At Footscray City Primary School (FCPS), our vision for reconciliation is entwined with our FCPS Mission, Vision and Values. This is realised by our vision for a community of learners in which all participants, both young and old, embrace diversity, equality and equity on the reconciliation journey. We aim to build an inclusive community in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are celebrated and valued in all aspects of our school. We strive to be a community in which is not only culturally safe, but one which is respects the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.   Our FCPS community vision for reconciliation is achieved through both the respectful inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives when designing and delivering curriculum, and more broadly in the decision-making processes associated with the growth and development of the school community.    We continue to establish productive and respective relationships with all community stakeholders, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, that are founded on trust, mutual respect and inclusiveness.
