VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Corrimal High School, our vision for reconciliation is one of deep respect, genuine relationships, and shared understanding between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. We are committed to creating a culturally safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islanders peoples are acknowledged and valued. We believe that education plays a powerful role in advancing reconciliation. Through truth-telling, respectful dialogue, and meaningful action, we seek to foster a school community where all voices are heard, and where students grow into informed, empathetic, and active citizens. Located on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra region, we walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with respect and a willingness to listen and learn. Our actions will reflect our commitment to equity, unity, and ongoing reconciliation.
