VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Engadine Public School envisions an inclusive community where the cultures and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are acknowledged, respected, and engaged with. We are committed to creating an environment built on mutual respect, understanding, and genuine collaboration with First Nations peoples.   Our school aims to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Owners of the Land.  We will educate our community about the true histories of Australia, and the resilience of First Nations peoples and ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are heard and respected in decision-making reconciliation at Engadine Public School is a collective journey. We encourage all community members to reflect on their role in this process and take meaningful actions to support reconciliation. We are dedicated to fostering a culturally safe and inclusive environment where the longest living cultures are honoured and celebrated, contributing to a more equitable and equal society for all.
