Our vision for reconciliation is toseek to further our relationship with the Gadigal and Wangal people, the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our school resides. We strive to further staff and students understanding about Australia's shared history, engaging thoughtfully with the rich traditions of Country and its people. Only when we are knowledgeable about First Nations’ cultures can we truly honour and respect them.
In striving for reconciliation, we are guided by our school values: we will pursue excellence through meaningful, respectful engagement with First Nations peoples and perspectives; champion equity by ensuring all voices are heard and valued; and foster creativity by encouraging new ways of thinking, learning, and connecting across cultures.
Therefore, we commit to learning together with the original inhabitants of our nation so that reconciliation becomes a living reality in our classrooms and beyond.
