Goodstart Early Learning Warrnambool’s journey and vision continues to acknowledge the First Nations peoples of Australia.
As a service, we collectively and continuously strive to strengthen the role we play towards reconciliation, ensuring all Australians can share a cohesive future together. Strengthening our reconciliation journey, the centre's focus is to upskill knowledge of local Aboriginal culture with the guidance of First Nations peoples.
The centre also continues to converse with First Nations organisations as we work together and explore respectful ways to embed practice, builds and strengthen respect, trust and our relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and non- Indigenous people, to sustain and uphold a reconciled and equitable future. We continue our reconciliation journey, through recognising, and respecting the important significance the histories, cultures, customs and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and their integral contribution Australia’s shared histories and identity.
