The Montessori Preschool of Sydney Zetland acknowledges the Traditional Owners of this Land which is Gadigal Land, and believe in promoting equality and equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and the community through showing commitment to reconcilitation between the First Peoples of Australia and non-Indigenous people. The Montessori Preschool of Sydney Zetland's vision for reconciliation is to further educate Educators, children and families within our community about the histories, cultures and contributions of First Nation Peoples. We acknowledge and value the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives. We aim to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum planning across all age groups, in a respectful and positive way.  Â
