We envision a learning community where the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are valued, respected, and embedded in everyday practice. Â We commit to building genuine relationships with local First Nations communities, engaging in truth-telling, and creating opportunities for learning, and re-learning. Â Together, we strive to nurture a generation who will walk forward with respect, equity, and unity towards a just and reconciled Australia. Â Â Â To reach our vision, we will embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, languages, and cultural practices across our curriculum in meaningful and appropriate ways. All educators will have opportunities for professional learning on cultural awareness, anti-racism, and inclusive practices. We will acknowledge and celebrate significant cultural dates and events in partnership with community members. We aim to engage in ongoing reflection and evaluation of our reconciliation actions to ensure they are creating real, lasting change. Â Â We hope together we can share and learn from the storytelling and learning practices that have taken place on this land. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
