Our vision for reconciliation is the respectful inclusion of Aboriginal, Torres Strait and South Sea Islander peoples' histories, languages, and perspectives into the curriculum within a physically and emotionally safe environment where all children feel welcomed. Through using art, symbols, and resources created by Aboriginal, Torres Strait and South Sea Islander artists and educators, we aim to ensure that the centre reflects the richness and diversity of First Nations peoples and cultures.
We aspire to engage with local Aboriginal, Torres Strait and South Sea Islander Elders and community leaders and provide meaningful opportunities for inclusion within the centre's programs. We will encourage, support and maintain respectful and meaningful relationships between children, families, staff and the local First Nations community.
