At First Grammar Freshwater, we acknowledge the Gimuy-walubarra Yidi people, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we stand. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. As educators on this sacred land, we are committed to teaching the children in our care about the rich and diverse history of Australia.
We aim to enrich children, families and the wider community's understanding of Gimuy-walubarra Yidi people by sharing their perspectives. Through learning about their histories and cultures, we hope to nurture a sense of respect, diversity, and inclusion. We are dedicated to showing respect for the Gimuy-walubarra Yidi people and educating and deepening everyone's understanding of reconciliation and how we should honor and care for this beautiful Land.
