At Coastal Lakes College, we are committed to promoting reconciliation through tolerance, respect, truth and empathy. We believe in Closing the Gap by creating a college environment that respectfully reflects the values of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with staff, students and wider community all taking responsibility and playing a role to promote reconciliation.  

Our vision for reconciliation is a future Australian national identity in which First Nations peoples’ histories, cultures and perspectives are recognised, respected, included, interwoven and ever-present. We will drive this work across the College leveraging the priority areas of; Relationships, Leadership, Teaching and Learning and School Environment to promote a culturally inclusive and responsive College that supports the broader commitment to reconciliation. All of this starts with our College and the local community.
