Our vision for Family Day care is to build meaningful and strong relationships and connections with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. These relationships will ensure we work together to continue learning about Australia's First Peoples histories and cultures. Â We acknowledge that reconciliation is an ongoing process, often involving learning over a lifetime, rather than the achievement of an endpoint, our service is committed to leading the way on this journey for all educators, children, families and the wider communities.Â
Our vision is to have educators who have a solid understanding and cultural responsiveness of what reconciliation means to them and to confidently and respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in their daily programs.Â
