At Goodstart Rosanna Bellevue Avenue, our vision for reconciliation is to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our curriculum and practices in the most authentic and respectful ways. We believe that including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives in our centre is important while supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children's and all children's sense of identity and belonging, and ensuring that their voices are heard. Building respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider communities, promotes respect for the true histories of the First Peoples of Australia and a genuine understanding of the Land we live on. Overall, we believe that by embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our curriculum and practices we endeavour to create an anti-bias, anti-racist and culturally inclusive environment.Â
