Our vision is to strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians, for the benefit of all. For us, Reconciliation means coming together. A reconciled Australia acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country across the nation and recognises their ongoing connections to lands, waters, and nature. Reconciliation calls on all Australians, particularly within the education sector, to recognise and respect the First Peoples of this Land. It requires acknowledging the injustices of the past and the ongoing inequalities and inequities experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples since colonisation. Together, we must commit to building a more just, equitable, and respectful future.
