At Mango Hill Early Learning we have a commitment to providing opportunities for the children in our care to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Traditional Owners of the Land that we work, play and learn on, the Gubbi Gubbi People. Â
Mango Hill Early Learning's commitment to reconciliation is essential for us to move towards a journey of healing with the local First Nations community and within our local community. Â
Our commitment is more than words as we implement plans within our service to build respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Â Â
Our Reconciliation Action Plan will be a way for us to map our path towards giving the children in our care the best support in learning about the histories, cultures and perspectives of the First Peoples of Australia and to becoming informed citizens on matters that affect our country. Â
This is a journey that we will take together with First Nations people and not only with the children, but with staff and the wider community to bridge the gap of equity and equality.  Â
