Our vision for reconciliation begins with acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Lands across Australia. We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and perspectives shapes our shared history as Australians. We celebrate that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures are one of the oldest in the world. We pay respect to First Nations Peoples and Elders, past, present and future. Â
As part of our commitment to reconciliation, we acknowledge the past colonial injustices that continue to impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and also acknowledge the continued strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as we build respectful relationships. We acknowledge the importance of educating children, families and educators about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples true histories, perspectives, and heritages. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
