CASS Gumnut Early Learning Centre Hurstvilles vision for reconciliation is grounded in deep respect for the cultures, histories, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of the Eora Nation and across Australia. We are committed to ensuring that every child and family has access to equitable and equal educational opportunities. Through genuine and respectful consultation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, we continue to strengthen our policies and practices so they reflect fairness, equity, and inclusion for all children, families, and educators.  As a service, we are dedicated to supporting educators in building their knowledge, respect, and advocacy for First Nations peoples, cultures, and histories. We believe that reconciliation is nurtured through respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community.   To uphold this commitment, we will embed ongoing cultural competency training for all staff, fostering deeper understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We will also seek to build and sustain meaningful partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and community leaders as we enrich our educational programs and support the holistic wellbeing and development of every child in our care.        Â
