Story House Early Learning Lara acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our service is built. Our vision for reconciliation is a service that is culturally safe for all.
Story House Early Learning Lara is committed to reconciliation and culturally responsiveness through providing training for all educators and staff, respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives into our curriculum.
We will continue to build relationships with Elders and local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, respectfully listening to, and learning from, their knowledges and perspectives as we support children, staff and the wider community to deepen their understanding of, and respect for, the First Peoples of Australia.
