At Little Charlie's ELC, we are passionate about ensuring the next generation is educated about the histories and cultures of and respects the Traditional Owners of the Land that we are situated on.Â
We will provide meaningful opportunities for Educators to collaborate together and constantly reflect on how we can educate children and respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives into our educational program and every day practices.
As a centre, we believe that by teaching children from a young age about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures it is a small step towards rebuilding relationships and working towards Australia's commitment to reconciliation to the community.
