Inspired Early Learning and Kindergarten was formed on the lands of the Bunurong and Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation where Australias First Nations Peoples have been teaching and learning ways of belonging, being and becoming for more than 65,000 years. We recognise First Nations Elders as Knowledge Bearers and Holders, and we continue to value and nurture relationships with First Nations peoples that assist in our own learning journey while educating children and the extended community.
Our vision for reconciliation is to continue to provide a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, heritages and perspectives, cultures and representation is respectfully included in our everyday practices and teachings. We know that educating our children and families, we can share knowledge with our wider community and therefore create a unified, just, equal and equitable society for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At Inspired we believe reconciliation is the ongoing commitment we have to create a future where we are respectful and proud of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures. As a community, we take the journey towards reconciliation together with our children, educators and families.
