VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is to embed a deep, authentic Connection to Country into the heart of The Akidamy School of Early Learning. We acknowledge that our Perth and Fremantle campuses stand on Wadjuk Noongar Country, and we commit to moving beyond symbolic gestures toward meaningful, long-term relationships with the First Nations community.

As one unified organisation, we believe that reconciliation is not a checklist, but a continuous journey of truth-telling, listening, and learning.

We view our school environment as the 'third teacher'; by surrounding children, families, and staff with the stories and artistry of First Nations peoples, we ensure these perspectives are lived and valued every day, not just on specific dates.

We aspire to shape a generation of children who do not just 'know about' Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, but who feel a genuine sense of belonging and responsibility to the land and its Custodians.

Through our 'Champions' (CAPO) leadership and inquiry-based pedagogy, we commit to a future grounded in equity, respect, and the celebration of the world's oldest living culture.
