C&K Calamvale Community Kindergarten recognises reconciliation as an ongoing journey for children, families and the wider community. As Early childhood educators, we feel it is important for us to instill respect for First Nations peoples, cultures, histories, heritages, traditions and continuing contributions. We strive to build positive and respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our vision for reconciliation is a culturally safe, supportive and inclusive environment for community members to come together and unite to make a meaningful positive change towards reconciliation in our community and beyond.
