At Goodstart ANU, our vision for reconciliation is to promote knowledge, respect, and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and perspectives. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where children, families, and educators feel a strong sense of belonging. We honour the Ngunnawal people as Traditional Custodians of the Land and actively embed First Nations perspectives into our learning and relationships. We recognise the importance of embedding First Nations perspectives into our daily practice, curriculum, and relationships. Through meaningful engagement, we aim to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and language supporting children, families, and educators on a shared journey of reconciliation. Through respectful education, inclusive practices, and ongoing reflection, we aim to build cultural awareness, strengthen connections, and support positive change within our centre and community towards a fair society.Â
