At Belonging Early Learning Asquith, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we work and play, the Dharug and Guringai peoples. We honour their ongoing connections to Country, culture, and community, and we are committed to fostering meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision for reconciliation is to create and maintain a culturally safe and inclusive environment where all children, families, and educators develop a deep respect for First Nations peoples’ cultures, histories, and perspectives. We strive to embed reconciliation in our everyday practices by listening, learning, and taking action in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Through authentic engagement, reflective practice, and continuous learning, we aim to:  •Recognise and engage with the diverse and rich cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through storytelling, language, and experiences woven into our curriculum.  •Build relationships with First Nations families and communities, ensuring their voices guide and inform our practices to ensure authenticity.  •Foster understanding and respect by providing children with opportunities to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives in ways that are meaningful and developmentally appropriate.  •Commit to ongoing reflection and improvement, ensuring our reconciliation journey remains genuine, evolving, and embedded in everything we do.
