VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At 3 Bees Early Learning Centre, we envision a reconciled Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respected as the First Peoples of this nation, and their diverse cultures, histories, and contributions are valued as a vital part of our shared identity.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live, learn, and play. We honour their continuing connection to Country, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Our vision is driven by a deep commitment to truth-telling, cultural respect, and building genuine relationships with First Nations communities. We believe that reconciliation is an ongoing journeyone that begins in early childhood and is built through education, reflection, and action.

We are dedicated to creating culturally safe learning spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children feel strong in their identity and all children grow with knowledge, empathy, and pride in the rich diversity of First Nations cultures. Our programs actively embed First Nations perspectives, guided by the voices and knowledge of local communities.

We recognise our responsibility to challenge bias, uphold equity, and ensure our everyday practices reflect our commitment to reconciliation. Through collaborative relationships, inclusive policies, and continuous learning, we aim to contribute to a more just and unified future for all.

Always Was, Always Will Be Aboriginal Land.
