Our vision is that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and non- Indigenous people is a part of everyday life. We recognise that the early childhood education setting is the perfect platform for children to participate in quality and enriching education about reconciliation and its meaning, learning with and from the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our service stands, where appropriate. Â Â We believe that strong respectful partnerships between our broader community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members lead to meaningful reconciliation. We understand that to achieve this our educators need the opportunities to further their knowledge about reconciliation so it can be passed on to the next generations and that we need to respectfully include learnings about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories and perspectives.
