VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation, to us, means acknowledging and learning from the past so we can grow into the future, strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples for the benefit of all Australians.

Our vision for reconciliation at Endeavour Early Learning Hillary is for all educators, children and families to continuously acknowledge, respect, learn about, and listen to, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live, learn and play, the Whadjuk Noongar people. As a centre, we deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures.

We are committed and focused on building respectful relationships with Elders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups within the local community. Through ongoing training and community connections, we will develop opportunities for children to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and perspectives.

We acknowledge the RAP in a continual process, and we will continue to add to it as a team with children and families. Our commitment reflects our values of respect, diversity, inclusion and advocating the rights of children.
