Our vision for reconciliation is to continue providing a culturally safe and inclusive environment for all children and their families, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.Â
We are here to educate children about the future, whilst incorporating a sense of being, belonging, and becoming within our service. We continue to develop trusting relationships with the Traditional Custodians and the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and to continue to extend our knowledge of the needs, interests, and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families in our service and the local community, creating a sense of belonging and mutual respect. Â
We actively acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Owners of the Land and will endure through intentional teaching practice, we will respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives as a way of engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We will continue to work together with the local Kaurna people and the wider community within our program to continue our reconciliation journey.Â
