Our vision for reconciliation is to build relationships with both the community within our service and the local First Nations community that is around us. We will provide opportunities for children, educators and families to develop a meaningful understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and to recognise the country's deep cultural heritage.     Â
Our vision is to create a safe space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, educators and the community feel welcome and respected. We want to provide learning opportunities within our practices that recognise this country's cultural heritage specifically beginning with the Kaurna culture as the Kaurna People are the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide Plains, Kaurna Land where our children learn and play.     Â
It will be our goal to ensure that our programmed opportunities in learning are embedded respectfully and deeply within this service. We will advocate for our educators by attending opportunities that help strengthen our understanding and awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our service respectfully.
