Coastal Kids vision for a reconciled Australia is to achieve true equity and equality between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people in all aspects of education, healthcare, opportunity, and relationships. We also commit to building collaborative relationships with the the Darumbal people, the Traditional and Ongoing Custodians of the Land on which we live, to learn knowledge about the past, and acknowledge and address historical injustices. Coastal Kids is a service which prides itself on creating an inclusive childcare and Kindy where First Nations children and all children are supported to achieve amazing outcomes in their first five years and we will continue to strive towards a future reconciled by embedding cultural responsiveness in our service through promoting empathy, understanding and respect. Our ongoing goal is to create a learning environment where reconciliation and cultural responsiveness is embedded into our practices, and we will be able to have a positive impact on the next generation.
