Coastal Kids vision for a reconciled Australia is to achieve true equality and equity for First Nations people in educational and wellbeing outcomes. We also commit to building collaborative relationships with the Darumbal people, the Traditional and Ongoing Custodians of the Land on which we live, to deepen our understanding of the true histories of Australia and the ongoing impacts of these histories on First Nations peoples. Coastal Kids is a service which prides itself on creating an inclusive childcare and Kindy where First Nations Children and children of all nationalities are supported to achieve amazing outcomes in their first five years and we will continue to strive towards a future reconciled by embedding cultural responsiveness in our service through promoting empathy, understanding and respect. Our ongoing goal is to create a learning environment where reconciliation and cultural responsiveness is embedded into our practices, and we will be able to have a positive impact on the next generation.
