At Little Genesis Early Learning Centre, our vision for reconciliation is grounded in the belief that every individual is created in the image of God, deserving of dignity, respect, and belonging. We stand on the sacred Land of the Turrbal people, the Traditional Custodians of Yuggera Land, and honour their enduring connection to this Country, culture, and community. 

Rooted in our Christian values of love, justice, hope, and stewardship, and guided by our Mission Statement to nurture the holistic growth of every child, we commit to fostering a culture of unity, respect, perseverance, and transparency as we walk together on the journey of reconciliation. 

Unity: We embrace reconciliation as a shared responsibility, bringing together children, families, educators, and the wider community to build strong, respectful relationships that celebrate diversity and strengthen connection. 

Respect: We honour the wisdom, traditions, and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, embedding cultural awareness and inclusion in our daily practices, learning, and decision-making. 

Perseverance: We acknowledge that reconciliation is an ongoing journey requiring commitment, humility, and courage to face difficult truths, learn from the past, and work diligently for justice and healing. 

Transparency: We pledge openness and accountability in our reconciliation actions, fostering trust through honest dialogue, reflection, and continuous improvement. 

Through this vision, we seek to create a nurturing, safe, and welcoming environment where every child learns the values of empathy, justice, and compassion - reflecting God’s love and fostering a future where reconciliation flourishes.
