At Rangeville Early Education Centre, we are committed to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. For us, reconciliation means acknowledging the past and working towards a future where everyone understands and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories.
We want to see an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have equal and equitable access to opportunities, and where all Australians feel connected to and respectful of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people cultures. We believe that learning about and respecting these cultures is key to building a stronger, more united future.
As an early learning service, we will continue to work towards, building positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our local community.
Moving forward, we will continue to grow our knowledge of the local First Nations people's perspectives and work with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members communities, to ensure our pedagogy, practice and programs reflect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. We will provide opportunities for educators, children, families, and the local community to meaningfully engage in this journey of reconciliation, aiming to make a positive difference.
We believe that reconciliation is something we achieve together, and we are committed to doing our part to build a better future for all Australians.
