Chiselhurst Kindergarten acknowledges the Giabal and Jarowair Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live, work and play. We recognise their continuing connections to land, water and community.   Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all Australians.  Chiselhurst Kindergarten is committed to building respectful, trusting and ongoing relationships with the local First Nations community by working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and community members. We value shared conversations, lived experiences and cultural knowledge, and work alongside First Nations community organisations to strengthen these relationships over time. We respect and actively engage with the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as part of our shared national identity.   We believe reconciliation starts here  in the hearts and minds of children, and continues to grow into respect, strong relationships and equality and equity for all.
