At the heart of our vision for reconciliation is a deep respect for First Nations peoples and cultures. We believe that reconciliation begins with our children through the relationships they form, the stories they hear, and the respect they learn to show for one another and for Country. We are committed to walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a shared journey of learning, understanding, and action. Through our curriculum, daily practice, and community connections, we aim to embed the principles of acceptance, equality, and equity. Our centre strives to create a culturally safe environment where First Nations voices, perspectives, and ways of knowing, being and doing are respectfully represented, heard, and celebrated. Together with families, educators, and community, we will continue to build strong, respectful relationships that nurture belonging and create a more just, inclusive, and reconciled future for all children.
