Kids at West End's vision for reconciliation is a future where all Australians respect and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, peoples and communities for the cultures, wisdom and knowledge they hold and preserve. We acknowledge the continuous Custodianship of the Lands, waters and stories by First Nations peoples and aspire to work together for a reconciled Australia, where educators, children, and families hold meaningful knowledge and respect for the First Nations peoples of Australia. We strive for respectful and accurate representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our curriculum to support current and future generations in their reconciliation journeys.    We respectfully embed the cultures of the Jagera and Turrbal peoples as part of our routine program and encourage families to engage, build respect for, and understanding of First Nations peoples, supporting cultural safety and inclusion within the West End community. We continue to build knowledge of reconciliation with children and families, deepening their shared understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, perspectives and histories.
