Our vision for reconciliation is to build respectful relationships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people. Our reconciliation journey will ensure all children have equal and equitable opportunities to participate in culturally safe and responsive environments and learning experiences. Â
At Sesame Lane School Zone we recognise Australia's history, implementing and guiding children, families and each other to work towards removing stigmas and tokenism. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, recognising and respecting the importance of unifying and working together to make change. We commit to advocating for the dignity and rights of every person in our community.Â
We will continue to educate ourselves and the children in our care to learn about, respect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and contributions in our service and community.Â
