At Goodstart Dennington, we are committed to building and sustaining respectful, reciprocal, and trusting relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. As a team, we will continue to deepen our understanding of the local traditions, customs, culture, and ongoing contributions of the Peek Whurrong people of the Marr and Gunditjmara Nation. We are dedicated to embedding reconciliation principles within our service and contributing to reconciliation across the wider Goodstart community of practice.     We provide ongoing opportunities for children, educators, and families to actively engage with, recognise, and strengthen their understanding of the diversity and richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. This will be achieved through inclusive, play-based learning experiences and the respectful embedding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our daily practices.
