VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Cuddly Bear Templestowe Early Learning Centre, reconciliation is a journey of respect, learning, and unity. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we learn and play, and we honour the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Reconciliation means fostering an environment where all children, families, and educators feel a deep connection to the Land and its First Nations heritage. Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we commit to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our curriculum, celebrating cultural diversity, and building meaningful relationships with First Nations communities.

We believe that early education plays a vital role in shaping a future built on understanding, inclusion, and equity. By listening, learning, and taking action, we strive to create a space where children grow with knowledge, respect, and appreciation for the rich traditions and wisdom of First Nations peoples.

Together, we walk the path of reconciliation, ensuring that every step we take contributes to a more connected and inclusive future for all.
