At Great Beginnings Reservoir we are committed to working in a respectful way with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations and communities.  

We will do this through recognising the diverse and dynamic nature of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. We will acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' deep connections with lands, waters and communities.    

Our vision for a reconciled Australia is a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and cultures are valued, acknowledged, respected and affirmed across all areas of society and where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples' rights are recognised and protected under Australian Law.    

We acknowledge our RAP is a continual process and we will add to it and grow individually, as a team and as an organisation. Our commitment mirrors our values of respect for diversity, inclusion, advocating the rights of children, justice, honesty and courage. It is our goal that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are embedded so respectfully and deeply in the future that it is entrenched in our being, belonging and becoming.
