At Dawson Street Children’s Co-operative, our vision for reconciliation is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures, and contributions are recognised and meaningfully embedded into everyday life.
We are committed to creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment that fosters respect, connection, and understanding among children, families, educators, and the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Through our programs, practices, and relationships, we continue to build and maintain strong and respectful partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, including local communities and Elders. We will listen, learn, and grow together, honouring the Land and its First Nations Custodians.
Our vision is to nurture future generations who walk together in reconciliation—guided by empathy, knowledge, and a deep respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
