Goodstart Early Learning Forman Ave recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Custodians of the Land on which we all live, work and play.
Our vision for reconciliation is for Goodstarters to engage with reconciliation on both a personal and professional level. Now more than ever we are creating the conditions that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social justice and equity. Through this vision, we are laying the foundations to grow future generations that value and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and history as a proud part of a shared identity.
We acknowledge the connection we have with the 60 000+ history of Australia through the Land on which our early learning environments have been created. Goodstart is committed to building partnerships based on trust, respect and recognition of the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as enduring, living cultures and we respect and value the cultural insights that we gain as we establish strong links between Goodstart and the children, families and communities with whom we work.
On a foundation of equity, integrity and respect, we create high quality early learning experiences for all children. Goodstart commits to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians and supports closing the gap in education and employment.
