VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Bright Buds ELC's vision for reconciliation is for all children, staff, families and the wider community learning about Australia’s true histories and the understanding the diversity of First Nations peoples and cultures We will do this through promoting unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other Australians. We are committed to forming authentic and respectful relationships with the local Ngunnawal Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our service stands.

We aim for educators, children, families, and the broader community to explore the rich and diverse cultures of First Nations Peoples, developing respect and ensuring equal and equitable educational outcomes. We envision that through acknowledging our shared histories, learning from the past, we are able to develop strong relationships and a society that moves forward together towards the removal of negative race relations with a sense of identity and belonging.
